On May 28, PipeThink hosted a seminar discussing the Energy East pipeline project to separate fact from fiction. Participants were treated to an overview of the proposed pipeline, an outline of the economic case for the pipeline from TransCanada and the Canadian Association of Petrolium Producers, an analysis of economic models used to determine the benefits of the project based on research from the Mowat Centre, and a review of the results of public consultations held by the Ontario Energy Board.
